The Gross Family

April and Josh have not had family pictures taken in years. April contacted me, because she thought it had been too long. I feel so privileged that they chose me to capture their fun, darling family! April and Josh have two boys, Clay (9) and Cole (6). They were so energetic and fun to photograph!

                                                                          Silly brother faces!
Clay is such a handsome young man!
                                                                          And Cole is so darling!

I love all of them in this picture, but I especially love April making kissing lips at Cole!

Hmmmm, which rock shall I throw?

                                                                    April is so beautiful!

          Thank you Gross family!

The Rose Family

What can I say about my dear friend Dena? Well to start, she has the cutest family! She is also such a wonderful friend to me, and always makes me laugh! Dena and Mike welcomed twins, Scarlett and Ruby, into their family last year. Of course, big brother Jett is absolutely adorable too!
                                                        Miss Scarlett, aka "mama"!
You might remember his darling face, from previous pictures
                                                              Miss Ruby, aka "tooties"
Dena made the cutest hats for her girls to wear! I just love them!

"Private residents" only please, whoops! I love their expressions and their bare feet!

My Thoughts Today

Well actually these are not my thoughts. They are another man's thoughts, and further yet, they were posted by Kate McRae's mother today (a little girl that is recovering from brain cancer, whom I have been praying for) .
This last week my brother in law, Charlie was flown to Phoenix Children's Hospital, for what appears to be a "cardiac event." I am not going to go deep into that, because his story is very personal, but what I would like to share, is the grief I have been experiencing, and the "Why God?" I have been asking.
This morning as I was checking my email, I came across a journal notification through Caring Bridge, by Kate's mother, so I clicked on it and read these words:
"Any man can sing in the day. When the cup is full, man draws inspiration from it. When wealth rolls in abundance around him, and man can praise the God who gives a plenteous harvest.... The difficulty is for music to swell forth when no wind is stirring. It is easy to sing when we can read the notes by daylight; but he is skillful who sings when there is not a ray of light to read by--who sings from the heart.... Lay me upon the bed of languishing, and how shall I then chant God's high praises, unless He Himself give me the song? No, it is not in man's power to sing when all is adverse, unless an altar-coal shall touch his lip....Then, since our Maker gives 'songs in the night' (Job 35:10), let us wait upon Him for the music -Charles Spurgeon

The Golleher Family, One Warm Family on One Cold Day.

This was by far the coldest shoot, I have done yet! I am so thankful the Golleher family, was so kick back, even despite freezing, from the elements! Matt and Joanne, Emma and Jack were so fun and so sweet, I had so much fun!

Thank you so much Joanne and Matt! I hope you love your pictures!
