My Thoughts Today

Well actually these are not my thoughts. They are another man's thoughts, and further yet, they were posted by Kate McRae's mother today (a little girl that is recovering from brain cancer, whom I have been praying for) .
This last week my brother in law, Charlie was flown to Phoenix Children's Hospital, for what appears to be a "cardiac event." I am not going to go deep into that, because his story is very personal, but what I would like to share, is the grief I have been experiencing, and the "Why God?" I have been asking.
This morning as I was checking my email, I came across a journal notification through Caring Bridge, by Kate's mother, so I clicked on it and read these words:
"Any man can sing in the day. When the cup is full, man draws inspiration from it. When wealth rolls in abundance around him, and man can praise the God who gives a plenteous harvest.... The difficulty is for music to swell forth when no wind is stirring. It is easy to sing when we can read the notes by daylight; but he is skillful who sings when there is not a ray of light to read by--who sings from the heart.... Lay me upon the bed of languishing, and how shall I then chant God's high praises, unless He Himself give me the song? No, it is not in man's power to sing when all is adverse, unless an altar-coal shall touch his lip....Then, since our Maker gives 'songs in the night' (Job 35:10), let us wait upon Him for the music -Charles Spurgeon

The Golleher Family, One Warm Family on One Cold Day.

This was by far the coldest shoot, I have done yet! I am so thankful the Golleher family, was so kick back, even despite freezing, from the elements! Matt and Joanne, Emma and Jack were so fun and so sweet, I had so much fun!

Thank you so much Joanne and Matt! I hope you love your pictures!

A Photographer's Son

What do you get when your mom is a photog? A boy who looks like this or sticks his tongue out for all pictures! But, I love him still!

The Vail Family and Rustic Prescott

I love the families that have chosen me to be their photographer! I know what a special job I have, and am so thankful to work with the families I do. The Vail family is absolutely no exception to this! This is one sweet family; Beth, Wade, and little Owen (16 months), and I must not forget their first child, Jack (the dog). They were absolutely so fun and easy going. I had never met them, before this shoot, but by the end, I felt like we were old friends.
When Beth contacted me about photographing her family, she requested that it be rustic.

I loved the lighting we had in some of these pictures! Yum!

Thank you so much, Beth and Wade! I loved meeting you, and your adorable son, Owen! I hope I  have the privilege of working with you again!

The Dankemeyer Family

Last weekend, I had the privilege of shooting my friends', the Dankemeyer family! They just welcomed twins into their family last spring, Addilyn Faith and Emelia Grace! Adorable!
Big brother Dillon, will be turning three this month. What can be better than sitting
with daddy, enjoying a lollipop, even if that is an old worn out mattress I had them sitting on?

I love this one of daddy and son, taking a walk!

The twins, Addi and Emma are eight months old!

Mommy and Daddy swinging their boy!

Okay, I could not stop laughing over these photos. Look at Dillon's face! So miserable but so cute!
Dillon, giving his sister Emma, a huge hug! Amazing his expression from one photo to the next!
And this one is just priceless! Addie, is in her own world munching on a leaf or two!

Thank you Nikki and Justin, for allowing me to shoot your adorably cute family!

Kids, Kiddos, Kids.........

It's that sweet time of year, when families want some new pictures of their little darlings, and I am so honored to be asked to capture children. I love children! Children at play, children at rest, children just being silly! I had the privilege of shooting these little darlings, for my friends' Marriah and Neil.
Ethan and Faith, brother and sister!
Ethan at play, and yes that's a stick! Such a boy!
Welcome baby Zoey, the newest addition to this sweet family!
We pray for this beautiful baby girl!
And little Miss Faith, so kind and gentle, she just loved picking the flowers.

I am amazed at the work God does, when He creates a new life!

I hope you enjoyed, this little sneak peek, of these kiddos!
