What a blast this was, shooting the very talented crew of Nyla'D Salon and Boutique. When Jenny Bacon, owner and stylist at Nyla'Ds contacted me about shooting for her, I was thrilled. They wanted a different look than they had ever had before, and wanted photos outside of their salon in our downtown Prescott.

I love this first picture, because it is just raw,and kind of grungy! I love the fact that know one is looking! We shot most of these outside an old laundry mat!

The Love of Jesus=The Wiggins Family

Yesterday, I had the privilege of photographing our pastor's family! They are such an adorable, loving and humble family, that we are so blessed to know and call friends! When Randy and I moved to Prescott in 2005, one of our greatest concerns was finding a church that we could call home. After about a week in our new house, a beautiful woman showed up at our front door with homemade cinnamon rolls for us. YUM!!!!! And the following week, this same beauty showed up once again, inviting us to her home for dessert! Well, that beauty was Anne, our pastor's (Pastor H. Lee Wiggins) wife. They invited us to The Heights Church, and we have been a part of this church family ever since!

This Precious Pooch

Frisbee!!!!! One precious pooch she is! She is not only a sweet, sweet family dog, but she is also an assistant dog. She is my brother in law, Charlie's dog. He received Frisbee, through the Canine Assistant's program, about four years ago, and she has been a wonderful part of the family!

When the Dr said, "it's a girl!" we were thrilled! What a surprise she was!

One Happy Boy

Jared you are one happy, energetic boy! I can't imagine my life without you, and am so excited for you to become an older brother!
I look forward to every morning, being woken up, by your hugs and kisses! And your " I love you mommy!" When we ask you, how you slept you say, "Pretty good!"

You have such a sensitive heart to others, and when others get hurt, you say "OHHH!" with the sweetest, most concerned tone in your voice!
You are so handy, just like you daddy! And are always working on something!

Nesting

With 3 1/2 weeks until the arrival of our baby, I have been nesting like crazy! You would think I would be fixing up the baby's room, but no I am not! Since we didn't find out the sex of the baby, I am kind of leaving the room as it was, and adding a "birdie" theme to it!
I have been instead wanting to make all kinds of fun projects for our home, and have commissioned my darling husband to help with these things. Of course, I have been horrible about taking pictures of any of these finished projects, but thought I would take a few of the Mother's day wreaths I made! I have a blog that I love, Tatertots and Jello, and she had posted pics of an adorable wreath similar to these, which I followed her tutorial on how to make! Since I made three of them, I have had burlap, coming out of my ears. And by the way, burlap is very messy and itchy too! Each wreath I made a little different, since they were for my mom, sister in law, and myself. I chose my mom's to say, "welcome, " my sister's to say "family," and mine to say "bless."

Bambino or Bambina?

Bambino or Bambina? This is the burning question on our minds! With only a few weeks left to go, we are so excited to meet this little one! This pregnancy has been wonderful, so different than it was with my son though! Jared was much more active in the womb, but this baby has the hiccups about 3 times per day. When I was pregnant with Jared, I could do anything, and not be tired. This has been a whole new world, considering I have been limping or I guess you could say "waddling" since I was 5 months along!
I have to once again thank the wonderfully talented Melissa Gartner, for taking these awesome shots! www.gartnerphotography.com She and her hubby Matt, were visiting Phoenix, for church ministry, and came up for the afternoon. We headed down the road, for a quick belly shoot!
